Product Information

This Gold Plated Fast FTDI based USB 2.0 to Serial Adapter provides an external plug & play
RS232 serial connection with your computer via the USB port.
Users have the capabilty to utilise the USB to RS232 adapter with serial port interface in an easy-to-use environment.


Please note the total cable length is 30 cm end to end (connector to connector). Please see item 2327
or 2446 if you need a longer cable length.

This FTDI USB to Serial Adapter is designed for connections to GPS Systems, Monitoring Equippment, PDAs, Digital Cameras, Modems, Data Aquisition Boards, ISDN Terminal Adapters and software that uses Serial Ports.

Just simply connect a serial device to the USB2.0 to RS232 adapter and plug the USB port into the computer.

Supports automatic handshake mode.

The cable length is 30cm from end to end

Supports remote wake-up and power management for upstream and downstream data flow.

Installed as a standard Windows COM port,

Full RS232 modem control signals,

RS-232 data signals; TxD, RxD, RTS, CTS, DSR, DTR, DCD, RI, GND.
