This Prolific based USB to Dual Port Serial Adapter Cable, is a affordable, high quality device
that operates as a bridge and provides an easy connection between a single USB port and two RS232 Serial devices.

This USB to Dual Serial Adapter has two DB9 Male RS232 Serial connectors providing quick, simple and cost effective solutions for various communication and automation applications.

Many new laptops and PCs have at the most, one serial port. This is a problem when you require use of multiple devices with serial connectors! What happens when you have a PICC Board and a Serial Based Temperature logger that you want to connect at the same time?

This Prolific USB to Dual Two Port Serial Converter is the answer to that problem.

Each serial port can be independently used. Users also can have the option to operate both DB9 Male serial ports at the same time.

Supports Windows 2000/XP/XP 64 Bit/Vista/Windows 7 (32 Bit) Mac OS v10.x or higher

Length of the total cable (RS232 end to USB end) is about 1.5M (nominal)

Separation between the four DB9 Male RS232 connecters is approx 5CM nominal cable length or 10cm nominal taking into account of connecters.
