This Bafo branded USB to Parallel Cable provides bi-directional connectivity between any standard IEEE-1284 compliant parallel port devices and the USB interface.
If you need to connect to your printer via a USB port then this cable/adaptor is ideal.
The cable is 1.2m in length and no drivers are needed unless you are using Win98 (Windows 98 drivers are supplied).
Bafo state that this product works with all parallel printers and does not provide a printer list.
Please note that we cannot verify this claim because of the large range of parallel printers available.
Always check with the manufacturer (Bafo) if you are unsure.
Note:
This adaptor provides a standard size Centronics connector however some (e.g. HP) printers have a half pitch Centronics Micro-C connector (approx 2.5cm wide) and may need a further adapter which is listed below.
